In the 3rd year of its product cycle, WUYING Workspace product team has been working on innovating its business goals and prioritizing the overall user experience.
I was part of the team to revamp key features within the main console to streamline purchasing experience and virtual desktop assigning workflow. Also I participated in a MVP product development in close collaboration with pm and engineer teams.
What is WUYING Workspace?
WUYING Workspace, a featured B2B2C computing product at Alibaba cloud, provides convenient and secure cloud-based Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) solution.
In 2023, the team has been improving the consistency and usability of its main console, meanwhile developing new solutions to fit into the market needs.
MY IMPACT
0-1 MVP Product Development
I was one of two designers on a team to develope a cloud-based app deployment and management product, from initial concept to launch. Our efforts led to securing our first significant client acquisition. Throughout the project, I worked closely with the project manager to improve the product experience and with engineers to ensure feasibility.
Revamp main console
I was part of team to redesign key features within the main console to improve the overall experience and consistency, based on usability testing and customer feedback.

I also contributed to the update of Alibaba Cloud design system through collaboration with front-end and design teams, ensuring consistent usage through improving guidelines and specifications.
Gainings
Think holistically.
This experience really pushed me to think holistically, considering the business, product, and user perspectives all at once. It taught me how to use design as a solution, bridging the gap between product concepts and successful outcomes.

Being involved in a collaborative work process was a valuable learning experience, and it allowed me to grow in several ways:
